Frequently Asked
Questions

While we do our best to provide as much information about our products and their application as possible, we know there are things that get missed or don’t work right. We ask that you check here first to see if you might find the answer to your question regarding a product or where to find a file to download. If you don't find your answer here, please feel free to contact:
Heidi@HeidiSongs.com

1) I ordered an Instant Download, but don't know where it is?

Instant Downloads come in as part of the email that confirms your order, and will contain a link that you click to get the file downloaded to your computer. If you don't find the confirmation email, check your email trash folder, as sometimes "spam" filters will automatically delete email from unknown sources. If you still don't find the email or link, please contact us, and we'll resend the link.

2) Can I use one of the HeidiSongs DVD's in my CD player to play the songs?

Unfortunately, this does not work. The way information is burned onto the DVD is not compatible with most CD players, unless your player is especially equipped to read both DVD and Audio CD formats. Consumer level CD players rarely have this feature, so it will unlikely work.

3) My DVD does not have buttons to play the movies, where are they?

The Song titles and Collection volume titles are the buttons that will highlight when ready to trigger the movies to play. On television DVD players, you should be able to navigate between buttons with the arrow keys on your remote. On a Computer, you should be able to select the buttons directly with the mouse.

4) Is ordering from the HeidiSongs website secure?

Yes, all transactions take place on a secure PayPal site, and are as safe as any other internet purchase. We realize the HeidiSongs order page is not the most elegant of storefronts on the web, and we are currently in the process of upgrading.

5) I’m having trouble ordering from the HeidiSongs website, what other ways can I order?

If for any reason, you have trouble with our website or anything about your order does not make sense, please call Heidi at (909) 331-2090. We sometimes have trouble with the website and certain browsers have more quirks than others, so we’re happy to talk to you directly to answer questions or take your order.

(Please try not to call during school hours (September to June) while Heidi is teaching - 8:00 AM. - 2:15 Pacific Standard Time. Best time to call during the school year: 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM PST.

June 22-August 31st: Call anytime from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM PST! When you leave a message, please let me know the time zone that you are in so that I may return your call at an appropriate time.

6) Do I have to have a PayPal account to order?

No, you can use any credit card as you normally would, PayPal just processes the transaction through their network. Also, PayPal often does not make this obvious, so it may take an extra look to see that this is the case.

7) Why did I get an email from E-Junkie?

E-Junkie is our online shopping cart, helping manage download files and hopefully smoothing out the online processing of your purchase. It helps us know when you order and manages the logistics of your download and order. If you have any questions about this process, please let us know.

8) How do I unzip my downloaded file?

We use the common .zip format to compress our downloadable files, saving both storage space and download time. If you do not have a compatible archiving utility on your computer, the file may come up as a blank icon, or just do nothing when you click on it. Don’t panic, you just need the right application to perform this task.

There are many free utilities that perform this unzipping function, and are handy to have installed for just this use. Mac’s and PC’s often have this built in when you purchase a modern operating system, but if not, please check the links below and choose your favorite to download.
